My name is Matthew Wildsmith, and I am a seasoned jewellery specialist with over fifteen years of experience in fine jewellery and accessories. In April 2018, I founded Wildsmith Jewellery after working in London's prestigious Burlington Arcade and realised I had something to offer.

Jermyn Street is a well known street in London that has become synonymous with fine quality artisans. For centuries, Jermyn Street has been home to a wide range of luxury brands, including bespoke tailors, shoemakers, and shirt makers. The street is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and commitment to quality. It is no surprise that Matthew chose Jermyn Street as the base of Wildsmith Jewellery, given his family's history on the street. Wildsmith Shoes, which was founded in 1847 by Matthew's great-great-great-grandfather (also named Matthew!), had a presence in and around Jermyn Street for over 180 years. This association with Jermyn Street and its heritage of fine quality artisans is a testament to the Wildsmith family's commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and design.
