A complete and exceptionally rare boxed gentleman's dress set, dating to circa 1920 and in remarkable original condition. The suite comprises a pair of cufflinks, four waistcoat buttons, and two shirt studs — everything required for white tie, with the waistcoat buttons doubling as shirt studs for black tie. Each piece is designed with an octagonal face in engine-turned platinum, set to an 18ct yellow gold back, and accented with an old cut diamond — a combination of materials and craftsmanship that is quintessentially Art Deco in its precision and restraint. Presented in its original box with all fittings.
Complete dress sets of this quality and period are genuinely rare — most have been broken up over the decades, making a fully intact, boxed example a significant find for the collector or the white-tie gentleman.
