A ruby and diamond locket, Victorian. The locket is fashioned in 18ct yellow gold and is oval in shape with a large feature bale. Across the locket is a panel of gold set off centre and embellished with two old cut diamonds and a pigeon blood ruby set to the centre. The locket retains its original glass and photograph of Marie Lydia Lansdowne and a note stating she died in 1895.
