The bubble ring is one of Wildsmith's own designs — three bands of brilliant-cut diamonds, each stone set in a rub-over collet that allows it to sit proud of the band like a row of bubbles, the rounded profile of each setting catching the light from every angle. The rub-over setting, in which a continuous rim of metal is burnished over the girdle of the stone to secure it, is both more protective than a claw setting and cleaner in profile: there are no prongs to snag, and the stones sit flush and secure within their collets, making this a ring that wears as well every day as it looks.

The three bands of diamonds run parallel across the finger, the 1.3 carats of brilliant-cut stones distributed evenly across the width of the ring to create a broad, luminous surface. Made in 18ct yellow gold. Also available in platinum — please contact us to discuss.
