A fine Victorian signet ring. Set with an octagonal carnelian to the centre in a rub-over setting, with a cartouche engraving. The 15ct gold mount is decoratively embellished with foliate detail which continues around 3/4 of the shank. The shoulders taper from 1.3cm to the top, down to 0.3cm to the back of the band.
