Victorian 9ct Albert Chain
A Victorian Albert Chain made in 9ct yellow gold. Made in the late part of the 19th century, the chain is formed of interlocking fetter links and smaller cable link sections in between. The popular way to wear what was once a staple of a gentleman's jewellery box, is as a necklace. This Albert chain is an ideal length to be worn around the neck, as well as its intended purpose as a watch chain. The chain is fitted with well engineered dog clips to either end and has a fixed t-bar to the centre.
